How to Add Fin Boxes & Deck Accessories

One of the joys of building your own wood paddle board is that you get to customize it exactly the way you want. Whether you are starting with one of our DIY paddle board kits or wood paddle board plans, you can make your board your own by adding cooler mounts, rod and reel holders, bungees, and a host of accessories. If you don't add any of these accessories to your board, you'll at minimum need to add a fin box. In this video in our board build series, we share with you how to add these plastic accessories to your board, plus how you can avoid the worst mistake we ever made in our board building journey.
