Information we collect
Contact and order information. We collect information you provide when shopping or contacting us, including your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, products ordered, and transaction details. Payment details are processed through the payment services used at checkout; we receive information needed to manage the transaction and your order.
Custom inquiries and Trade applications. We collect the information you choose to provide about your project, including your company or property, project location, watercraft interests, quantity, timing, materials or design preferences, and project description. You may provide website or inspiration links, reference images, and project briefs. We may record the originating page and board model to understand the context of your inquiry. Please provide only relevant materials and avoid submitting sensitive personal information about yourself or others.
Support communications. We collect messages, order references, photographs, and other information you share when requesting assistance, care guidance, repairs, or refinishing.
Website activity and device information. We and our providers collect information such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, pages and products viewed, referral information, interactions with our website and advertisements, and cookie or similar identifiers. Analytics tools may capture interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and navigation to help us understand and improve the website.
Marketing preferences. We collect subscription preferences and information about interactions with our marketing communications, such as whether a message was opened or a link was clicked.
We obtain information directly from you, automatically through our website and services, and from providers and partners that support transactions, analytics, and marketing.
How we use information

- Review inquiries and Trade applications, recommend products, prepare proposals, and coordinate commissions and fleet services.

- Measure marketing effectiveness and personalize advertising.

How we disclose information
We disclose personal information as needed to providers that support our website, payments, communications, customer service, accounting, order fulfillment, and delivery. These include Shopify, which powers our store and Shopify Forms; Gorgias for support; and providers supporting email and marketing, analytics, reviews, and shipping. Typeform may process information submitted through our existing forms while those forms or their retained records remain in use.
Our store includes integrations with Google, Meta, Microsoft Clarity, Klaviyo, Pinterest, and TikTok. Depending on the integration, configuration, and your privacy choices, these services support analytics, communications, advertising, and measurement. Information disclosed for these purposes may include identifiers, contact information, purchase information, and website activity. Some partners process information under their own privacy policies as well as their arrangements with us.
We may also disclose information to comply with law or lawful requests, protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale, subject to applicable safeguards.
Shopify and Shopify Network Intelligence
Shopify hosts our store and processes information to provide and improve its services. We have Shopify Network Intelligence enabled. This allows Shopify to use information from interactions with our store together with information from interactions with Shopify and other merchants to support services such as personalization, advertising, and product improvements.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising choices
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential website functions, preferences, analytics, and advertising. Necessary technologies support functions such as the shopping cart and security. Optional technologies help us understand usage, personalize experiences, and measure or deliver advertising.

A preference may apply to the browser or device used; you may need to repeat your choice on other browsers or devices.
An advertising opt-out does not mean you will stop seeing advertisements. Marketing emails can be unsubscribed from using their unsubscribe link. For supported SMS programs, follow the opt-out instructions in the message. We may still send communications needed for your order or requested services.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here. Relevant factors include whether an inquiry or customer relationship is active, whether records are needed to fulfill or support a product, and applicable accounting, legal, security, and dispute-resolution requirements. Retention periods vary by information and purpose. Deletion requests are subject to applicable exceptions and recordkeeping obligations.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
We are based in the United States. Our providers may process information in other countries, whose privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Additional rights may include limiting certain uses of sensitive personal information and appealing a decision about a request, where applicable.

We may need to verify identity for certain requests and verify an authorized agent’s authority, as permitted by law. We will respond within applicable legal timeframes and will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
If you wish to appeal a decision, contact the same address and explain the request and decision you would like reviewed. You may also have the right to complain to a regulator or local data protection authority.
Children’s information
Our online shopping and inquiry services are intended for adults, including adults purchasing boards for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and address the matter.

SMS communications and consent
When you text Jarvis Boards or agree to receive text messages from us, we use your mobile number, message content, and consent records to respond and provide the communications you requested. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in data or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are excluded from the advertising and marketing sharing described elsewhere in this policy. We may disclose this information to messaging service providers solely as necessary to operate the requested messaging service, or as required by law.
