Small Business Saturday Celebration

Small Business Saturday is an event that takes place every year the day after Black Friday. It's a day that celebrates "the little guys." The little guys that work hard day in and day out to produce unique products for their local customers.

Here at Jarvis Boards, we are considered a small business. We are a small team of six people that handle all of the crafting, shaping, customizing, and marketing of the wood boards. We are proud of our team and we are also proud that we are in Austin, a place that overflows with small businesses

We have never seen a city that has as many passion filled businesses as Austin. That is why we decided to host an event this year that celebrates all the unique small businesses that call Austin home. We have teamed up with our friends at Garrison Brothers Distillery to host a one day community event at our shop. Via 313 will be serving up their cheesiest pizza, Garrison Brothers will be pouring their famous bourbon, not to mention wine from The Austin Winery, and Austin Eastciders for everyone 21+.

As for local merchants, our friends at Tecovas will be displaying their renowned leather boots and Howler Bros will be showing off some of their latest designs. We will also be revealing a special board we have been working on that was crafted using an old bourbon barrel. As for others, well you will just have to come and see who else will be there!

We are so excited for the community to come together and discover new local businesses. We would love for you to come out and shop the local vendors, sip on some local beverages, and taste come local flavor.
