Y'all know the story. Jarvis Boards was started in a South Austin garage with a mission to build the best wooden paddle boards possible. What started as a grassroots passion project while I worked a full time job in finance, has grown beyond my wildest expectations with recent magazines appearances in Texas Monthly, SUP the Mag, Men's Journal, Vanity Fair and a pending appearance on the Discovery Science Channel this Fall! As the company has grown, we have stayed true to our roots, building our boards locally in Austin in small batches using real wood.
As much as I’d like to, I can’t claim that this success is due to my hard work alone. Like any small business, Jarvis Boards couldn’t exists without the work and skills of the craftsmen that we’ve brought on board that make our boards both functional and beautiful.
With the upcoming July 4th holiday, we wanted to celebrate our American journey as well as celebrate all of the artists, craftsmen and dreamers out there that make America the unique place that it is. To celebrate, we've built a small batch of wood paddle boards using American Walnut, Cedar and Paulownia woods. These wood SUPs are available as either the larger Guadalupe shape for paddlers over 170 lbs or as the Frio shape for paddlers below 170 lbs and is in-stock and ready to ship unless otherwise noted. If you are looking for an all around SUP that will be a head turner wherever you go, then this is it!
We have built a very limited run of these boards and are available now! Plus, now through July 5th, get free shipping on any in-stock board using the coupon code below at check out!
